Only 5 days to go!

We're in the final countdown... costumes are being assembled, pre- and post- race dinners are being organized and emergency medical information is being collected....

Just to give you a flavor for the excitement leading up to the race, I thought I'd share one of our teammates response to their current medical conditions (no worries, we're not breaking any medical confidentiality here...):

3) Medical Conditions: SAR (seriously allergic to running). Symptoms include, but are not limited to, acting like a pirate for hours on end, pretending that a mini-van is a pirate ship and Don is Captain black beard...

The Hog, a Mighty Fine Vessel!!

Hi ho, hi ho, a pirates life for me!

We're pleased to introduce The Hog. She's a mighty fine vessel that will sail the seas of the Adirondacks as Vessel #1 for team Haulin' Mast... Beware all those who cross our team's path since you'll have to walk the plank! Arrrgh!!

It's been another busy week! 

Our sweet t-shirts arrived last week (see picture below), our starting time for the race was assigned (9 am), and we finally secured Van #2 (at no cost to the team)! Whoop Whoop!

All that remains is 4 more weeks of training and a little pirate costume creativity - then Haulin' Mast will be ready to hit the highway!!
